E- The ball game affected their economy because whenever they had a game, they sacrificed one of the winning player afterwards to ensure that they had crops because their gods were honored. C- These ball games were rituals that since the beginning were always there, as well as being a daily activity, they used them to determine everything in their surroundings like crops when they sacrificed people. R- After their ball games, the winners of the game would be sacrificed to honor their gods in order to keep the sun shining and the crops growing. Just like Monte Alban’s citizens, the Aztecs used to play the ball game too. It was a significant game that not only filled their days with activities, but they were seen as rituals in their cultures, and they had religious intentions too that would later benefit all the aspects of their society. |
